Scrubber & Blower
A scrubber + blower assembly is used to remove pollutants (gases, vapors, particulates) from exhaust gas streams.
Material of Construction (MOC) is crucial:
- PP (Polypropylene): good chemical resistance to many acids and aggressive gases (but limited temperature).
- SS (Stainless Steel, e.g. SS 304 / 316): good general corrosion resistance, better strength & temperature than PP for many cases.
- MS (Mild Steel): cheaper, but typically has corrosion protection (coatings, liners) if used in less aggressive conditions.
