This traditional yet highly reliable method of analysis is widely used in jewelry refineries, hallmarking centers, and testing laboratories.
he complete set-up includes a muffle furnace, cupellation furnace, cupels, crucibles, tongs, balances, and assay tools, arranged for smooth and safe operation. The furnaces are constructed from Mild Steel (MS) or Stainless Steel (SS 304 / SS 316) with high-grade refractory lining to withstand operating temperatures up to 1200°C, ensuring efficient melting and oxidation of base metals.
